Paramita has been part of the recruitment industry for almost 2 decades. She started her journey with firms like Anthroplace Consulting, CHR Global and INX Services. She specialized in IT and Telecom initially. However, over the years she ventured into Consumer, Services, retail, Engineering, and Manufacturing as well. After a point, her expertise matured into industry agnostic Leadership Hiring. Her first corporate stint was with Aircel, where she was part of the Corporate Talent Acquisition team and later Circle HR Operations team. She was an integral part of new circle roll outs in Aircel along with hiring for East Region Circles. Post Aircel, she chose to move back to Consulting once again and completed a successful stint with ABC Consultants. She successfully conducted several searches related to Senior Level Hiring for industries like Telecom, Consumer Goods, Retail, Infrastructure, Engineering, EPC and Manufacturing. Paramita’s next assignment was with ATC Telecom Tower. She joined ATC as Regional HR Head for East and was responsible for overall HR operations and Talent Acquisition for Eastern Region. She was member of the core HR team responsible for the People Integration process post acquisition of VIOM networks (A Tata Company) . She also managed Noth Region along with East for a period. In 2018 she joined GMR group as the Head-Talent Acquisition. Paramita was responsible primarily for Leadership Hiring in GMR and successfully inducted senior leaders in all the sectors like Energy, Airports, Transportation and in Corporate at a Group level.

She decided eventually to follow her long-held dream of establishing her own Search Firm and launched Nissaba Executive Search LLP in September 2022. Nissaba Executive Search specializes in Leadership Hiring primarily. However, they cater to requirements in various sectors for Mid-management roles as well. The organization champions the philosophy of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at workplace and specializes in creating DEI Framework and supports Diversity Hiring for clients. Paramita is a Certified Diversity Professional and conducts sensitization workshops for different organizations. She champions women’s back-to-work programs, works passionately for more LQBTQI+ and Persons with Disability (PWD) inclusion in the hiring space. She is committed to DEI at a personal level as well in her profession, which she prefers to refer as her Calling.
